This project was located directly downstream of another Twomile Creek project. It consisted of constructing approximately 3,400 feet of 3-strand electric fence. This fence was constructed with a different type of post than we normally use. We used “insul-timber” wood posts instead of the typical metal t-posts. This type of wood withstands flooding and serves as an insulator for the wire. The landowner requested this type of fence because of his past experience with it. The landowner assisted with site preparation and design for this project.
