This project was located at road mile 11 on the Dora-Sitkum Highway The project area is used for seasonal cattle grazing and hay production. It consisted of constructing 1950 feet of four strand barbed wire. The water system was furnished by the landowner. The project site had an average channel width of 60 feet (active channel 20 feet), with an average bank height of 40 feet. The average set back was approximately 30 feet from the top of the bank. The riparian area before the project consisted of Himalayan blackberries, and a few mixed hardwoods. This project was completed in May of 2001, but was not planted until later that winter.
